Elephant 03:39
Look around on the ground Big round holes in sets of four by haystacks It's clear they've been here What's their business they are not indigenous. Everywhere in this town you see elephants Not just in the zoo, behind every fence. E - L - E - P - H - A - N - T that spells elephant. Infinity in a hose, for a nose that was heaven sent. Leathery and tan like my old man he's no sycophant. E - L - E - P - H - A - N - T that spells elephant. Try to dance like one now Swing your trunk back and forth Now you're a trunkophant. Hear them making the sound. Everywhere in this town you see elephants. Brown round mound on the ground, that's their excrement. E - L - E - P - H - A - N - T that spells elephant Infinity in a hose, for a nose that was heaven sent T - M - B - E Yeah you know me They might be elephants E - L - E - P - H - A - N - T that spells elephant

Your cousin is the son or daughter of the sister or the brother of your father or your mother (repeat x2) Your aunt is the woman who has the same mom or dad as your mom or dad had Your uncle is the man who has the same mom or dad as your mom or dad had Unless he's the mister who married their sister Your cousin is the son or daughter of the sister or the brother of your father or your mother (repeat) It's all relative It's all relative It's all relative

Wotchado 02:17
Well, I've got a dad he's a really good dad but sometimes he gets mad. I've got a sis, she screamed while I was swinging and she made me miss. I've got a bro he says I'm short and I'll never grow Well all of these people, they're my family. I'm stuck with them and they're stuck with me But it's just like my daddy told me back when I was two: I may not always like what you do but I'll always love you. Well, I've got a mother sometimes she confuses me with my brother. I love my gramps but I worked really hard and he paid me with stamps. I've got a grammie one time she looked at me and she called my Tammy Well all of these people, they're my family. I'm stuck with them and they're stuck with me But it's just like my daddy told me back in ought-two: I may not always like what you do but I'll always love you. I know I'm not perfect, I make mistakes too I tracked mud in the house, I wrote on the wall, knocked over my mom's stew. I've got a dad, he's a really good dad, but sometimes I make him mad. I've got a sis, one time I got mad and hit her with my fist. I've got a bro I remember that time I stepped hard on his toe. Well all of these people, they're my family. I'm love them and they love me But it's just like my daddy told me back in '72: I may not always like what you do but I'll always love you.

It isn’t what you take, it’s what you leave on garbage eve.

I'm Flying 02:26
If I could fly I would spend all day flying. If I could fly I would look up at the sky and see myself flying. If I could fly I would sing a song about how I am flying. If I could fly I would find a bird and say "Hey, we're both flying." If I could fly I would only eat food that was good for flying. If I could fly I would shout to the world: I'm flying I'm flying I'm flying I'm flying If I could fly don't you think I would spend every second of the day flying.

Everyone’s excited about the new little addition But he seems like a subtraction to me A magician with distraction I can see in his reaction He’s trying to evaporate me Trying to prestidigitate me I’ll strike back, I’m gonna throw him off his track I’m gonna send the little bugger back It was fun while it lasted, I know I’ll be lambasted But it’s time to send the little bugger back Send him back I don’t need him Did you know you have to feed him? It’s time to send the little bugger back All my stuff he’ll never borrow Mom and dad will feel the sorrow Maybe I’ll send the little bugger back tomorrow

I Farted 01:18
In my brown windbreaker I slice right through the cheddar Do you follow me? Or better we should just walk side by side Gulps of air you swallow when you eat or when you chew Work their way around down there and come back out of you I farted! I farted! Knocked the wind right out of me I smelt it and I dealt it, took my knife and cut the cheese I farted! I farted! The beginning of my end, and now I’ll say I’m sorry and I hope we can still be friends.

Twins 02:30
It’s a baby in the mirror it’s another baby Wait it’s not a baby it’s an echo it’s a mic check Double helix double vision Do I have to decide? Two left feet, pair of shoes, A batteries Yes good egg no evil chicken batteries Are you kidding me did you really think you’d never need another pair of AA batteries? The twins are more than you asked for All that you’ve got and more than you deserve And if you ask me I’ll say Every day is two’s day Today must be a birthday and another birthday It’s a movie, it’s a double feature, it’s a double double feature (that’s a double feature about a double feature) It’s the tandem bike you took to get yourself to the shows It’s a two lane highway with a double decker bus with two rows of double seats on the inside. Have a twin pop popsicle sit back and enjoy the ride and the hum of the countryside. The twins are more than you asked for All that you’ve got and more than you deserve And if you ask me I’ll say Every day is two’s day Today must be a birthday and another birthday

That man in the top hat standing on the corner looking at the big parade, What could he possibly see? He holds a microphone above his head until the sky begins to fall Downtown on the top hat standing on the corner looking at the man in the big parade.

I’m gonna eat a peach Even though it might be out of reach I’m gonna eat a peach I’m gonna eat a pear I’ll eat it all, but if you want some I’ll share I’m gonna eat a pear. I'm gonna eat a grape Even if I have to take it from an ape I'm gonna eat a grape. I’m gonna eat a carrot No no no, I didn’t say parrot! I’m gonna eat a carrot I’m gonna eat a shoe I know that’s a silly thing to do but I’m gonna eat a shoe I’m gonna eat a bug I just saw it crawling on the rug so I’m gonna eat a bug I’m gonna eat the moon Look up there one day real soon. 'Cause I’m gonna eat the moon. I’m gonna eat the sun I think it sounds like a whole lot of fun I’m gonna eat the sun. I’m not feeling very good That’s because I ate everything I could now I’m not feeling very good

Toast 02:41
What’s better than bread? It’s toast! When ice gets hot it melts a lot When ducks get hot they roast When milk gets hot it goes to pot Your vegetables will wilt and rot When I get hot I sweat a lot But when bread gets hot it’s toast It gets a special oven on the counter to itself It summons all your favorite condiments off of the shelf I like mine with peanut butter Always tasty with nutella France or Texas, either place can boast When I get hot I sweat a lot But when bread gets hot it’s toast

We are waiting for mom to get home. Waiting for mom to get home. We played with the football, we shot a few baskets, shook my Magic 8 Ball™ ten times and I asked it, how long must we wait on our own? We are waiting for mom to get home. We are waiting for mom to get home. Waiting for mom to get home. We ate all our veggies, artichoke to zucchini, Wore every hat including stovepipe and beanie We took a long nap after playing all morning Hung out with daddy until he got boring In fact, at this moment he’s on the couch snoring, And we’re waiting for mom to get home.

It’s hard sometimes to go to sleep But where do you go when you sleep And how do you know you are sleeping? When you dream, what do you see in the sea behind your eyes Tales unfold and lies are swept away when you sleep.

about

The Alphabeticians Portland, Oregon

Self made millionaires seeking out vigilante justice from a cave? No. Huge, scary, reptilian beasts from an ancient time? No. Space travelers from the other side of the universe trapped here because their ship ran out of fuel? Maybe, but no. Then who, or more precisely, what are The Alphabeticians? They are 2 guys (Mr. Hoo & Mr. E) who love playing quirky, funny, upbeat songs for kids & families. ... more
